General dentist · Peoria
Clemons Dental places and restores single-tooth implants in one office. Dr. Clemons reads your scan with you, explains the options for the gap and gives you the fee in writing before any treatment.

The path
Usually four to six visits over several months. Healing sets the pace, and you get the sequence in writing.
A 3D scan and an exam. Dr. Clemons shows you the scan, explains the options for the gap and writes the estimate.
If the tooth is still there it is removed. When the bone is thin, a small graft may come first, and the site heals.
Done in the office with local anesthetic. Most people feel pressure, not pain, and we stop whenever you ask.
The implant and bone knit together over a few months. We check the site as it heals.
The crown is made from a scan of your implant, fitted, and checked against your bite.

The scan room
Every implant plan starts with a 3D scan of your jaw. Dr. Clemons goes through it with you on the screen.
The scan shows how much bone is there, where the nerves and the sinus sit, and how the neighboring teeth lean. From it she plans the implant's position and the crown's shape together, so the two fit. If the scan shows a case better handled by a surgeon, she tells you then, not after you have started.

Patients
“She put the scan on the screen and showed me where the bone was thin. I knew the plan, and the estimate, before I agreed to anything.”
“I had one question after another and nobody rushed me. The crown was fitted after the implant had healed, as I had been told.”
“It was one office for all of it. I didn't have to explain my history twice, and the fee on the page was the fee on the bill.”

Usually four to six visits spread over several months. The time depends mostly on how the bone heals, and Dr. Clemons gives you the sequence in writing.
The area is numbed with local anesthetic. Most people feel pressure, not pain, and some soreness afterward. Tell us if you want a break and we stop.
Yes. You get a written estimate before any treatment, with each step and its fee. How paying and insurance work is on the fees page.
Then Dr. Clemons says so and explains the other ways to replace the tooth, including a bridge, a partial denture or leaving the gap for now.
